Hello, I'm Kathy, your patient coordinator! My goal is to assist you from beginning to end. I not only help you make your first appointment with Dr. Barlow but I am present during your evaluation with Dr. Barlow so that I can assist you and Dr. Barlow in carrying out the treatment plan created for you. I will schedule surgery, fax orders for therapy, schedule follow-up visits whenever necessary.
If you are a medical patient, I am also the person who will verify your insurance benefits so there will be no surprises. My small size is no reflection of my passion for helping you navigate your way through the insurance process. I am your advocate and I want to help you access the coverage or benefits for care that you and your employer have paid a great deal of money to receive. After benefits are clear, I provide our third party billing company with all of the necessary information they need to assist in reimbursement for care.
I was chosen to join this team because I prioritize well, have an acute attention for detail, along with thorough and timely follow-through. Simply put, I will not drop the ball on you! Many patients leave their physician's office confused and even frustrated. That will not happen here, and you have my word on it! You will know what is going to happen, what has happened and what I am working to make happen for you. So, take a deep breath and relax, I'm at your service!
