Welcome, my name is Christie, the cosmetic patient coordinator. I am proud to be part of the professional team assisting Dr. Barlow in providing you with exceptionally great care. Everyone here has a goal is to make you feel as though you are our only patient.

I want to make you feel comfortable and at home from the minute you make your initial email or telephone contact. I'm here to answer general questions like pricing and average recovery period. I not only create an appointment for you to see Dr. Barlow, but I also send you an electronic link to begin your paperwork at your convenience. I can also assist you in accessing financing options. My favorite part of my job is that I am present before, during and after your consultation and appointments with Dr. Barlow. I assist you and Dr. Barlow in carrying out every aspect of your treatment plan.

Once this treatment plan is established, I put it in writing for you. We go to great lengths to create a folio that is customized for each patient. This folio provides a description of the procedure(s), pre-operative directions (including but not limited to certain drugs to avoid), and post-operative directions. It also includes a quote sheet that breaks down the surgeon fees, discounts for multiple procedures, the anesthesia fee, the facility fee, and any garment, implant, or other costs. No surprises!

Our practice manager always tells us that great medicine happens when these three things come together: patient education (understanding the plan, directions, and expectations); the surgeon's skill (connecting, operating, and communicating); and patient compliance (following directions). I know this to be true and that is why we want to give you the very best information in several formats (verbal, written, and visual). I plan your second consultation, your preoperative visit here, your preoperative visit at the hospital, schedule your surgery, fax orders, order your garments, implants, and any other necessary items, give you your prescriptions so you can fill them before surgery, program Dr. Barlow's cell phone into your phone, and schedule each of your postoperative and long-term follow up visits. We want to dot every ‘i’ and cross every ‘t’ for you in order to make this transition as smooth and effortless as possible for you. We don't even want you to worry about finding your way to admitting next door, we walk you there ourselves!

As a patient, it was my disappointment with the level of care I received from other plastic surgeons that led me to this practice. Dr. Barlow and his team got it right for me and I wanted to be part of making it right for other patients. It was a huge career change for me, but the right one. I haven't spent a lifetime in medicine so I am not burnt out, jaded, or cynical. Instead, I find the journey that I travel with each patient fresh, unique, exciting, and rewarding.
